About Barista-Gear

Barista-Gear is a labor of love by Nick B.

Nick is a coffee enthusiast and has been since the age of 5, when he asked his grandmother for a sip of the drink she was having.  Knowing he would not like the drink "au-naturale", she created a super sweet cup that Nick would never forget.

Since then, Nick has traveled to many places around the globe and sampled coffees from different cultures.

To Nick, coffee is not just a caffeine drink but rather, it is a beverage the opens doors to many wonderful things like pleasant conversations, cultural exchanges, and art.

This site aims to bring you accounts of coffee news from around the world, provide you with equipment and coffee gear to help you make great coffee at home, and some of Nick's personal musings on world events as they pertain to coffee.
